Mads, with Swedish co-driver Jonas Andersson, won all the 8 stages, in the 98 km long rally with a total time 3 minutes and 34 seconds ahead of number two. Rally Wales is the next big challenge for Mads and Jonas. - We are very much looking forward to Rally Wales, they say. We will come well prepared, and aim to do a good result. - We consider Mads as a well established driver by now, Adapta World Rally Team owner Morten Østbers says. Not only in Scandinavia, but also in WRC Mads is delivering consistently good stage times. With one silver medal in his first year in NRC in 06 and 3 successive gold medals after that, people think he has always been there. It is easy to forget that he is only 21 years old. It will be interesting to see how soon Mads and Jonas can take the next step forward in WRC. It might be sooner rather than later. With a successful Rally Wales pre event test, they will probably pick out an ambitious aim for Rally Wales, which is a rally Mads very much like, Morten says. Everything is not final and decided for next year for Mads and Jonas, but it looks like 2010 will be a very interesting year internationally. - We are working determined to get a good program both next year and the year after. I don’t think it will take long until we can tell more about it, Mads says. - Whatever happens internationally, I will continue competing in Norway and Scandinavia. NRC is an important championship to me. I want to give something to the Norwegian spectators and organizers, and it is good to be working in Norway with the Norwegian sponsors. And it is very good practice for WRC.

Mads was pushing hard in Rally Hedmarken this weekend, even if he had already won the championship before the rally started. This time Mads was using his 08 car, a Subaru WRC 07, the same car Jari Ketomaa used in Rally Finland.
