 After an almost perfect rally in Hallingdal in Norway, Mads Østberg had to see himself beaten by Andreas Mikkelsen. This year’s first round in the Norwegian Rally Championship was held in Hallingdal in Norway. Mads Østberg started first on the road something that may have been influential on the results.

 "I am happy to confirm that team, car and program for 2012 is now decided" says Mads Østberg in connection with the decision that Mads and codriver Jonas Andersson will come in a Ford Fiesta WRC in close cooperation with M-Sport in WRC 2012.

 Mads Østberg finished second after a tough weekend in the final round of this year’s FIA World Rally Championship, Wales Rally GB. It is also his second podium finish in the WRC this season.
