The 23-year-old Mads Østberg and co-driver Jonas Andersson lost the power steering in the Ford Fiesta RS WRC after a jump on stage four, and went of the road only a few kilometers before the end of the stage.

- A problem we have seen a few times before - loosing the power steering after a jump, happened now. They hit something when they lost the power steering, went of the road and broke the left front corner. No big accident or damage at the car, but they can not drive anymore, Morten Østberg explains, who is the team manager in Adapta World Rally Team.

On stage three they hit a large rock, but Mads Østberg do not think it has something to do with the exit on stage four. They will start again tomorrow during the Super Rally rules.

Before SS4 Mads Østberg was in sixth place overall in the Acropolis Rally of Greece.
